Two Hearts In Unity

I wrote this song as a wedding gift to my aunt and new uncle:

When God brings two hearts together in love, in unity
The covenant made before Him is one for eternity
I pray that God opens your eyes to the many blessings in your lives
And whenever times get rough, you remember our God is a God of love

A heavenly picture is made when two hearts beat as one
A heavenly trumpet plays to celebrate the union
Whatever paths God leads you down, I pray your faith remains
Strong in adversity and joyful in praise

A wonderful story begins with vows before the Lord
A wonderful chapter ends with the start of something more
Whatever weather you experience, God will take the seeds you’ve sown
And a garden of love and joy He will cause to grow

A beautiful song will be sung with Spirit in your hearts
A beautiful time has begun, Today is just the start
Whatever God has planned for you, He’ll make it come to pass
You will find that in His love you are truly blessed
